So in the Murcielago(not pictured here) if you decide "I want larger wheels" or "hey these 235/35 tires just aren't doing it for me" and decide to swap it out for something like a 255/40 or something crazy. It will cause the front differential to overheat. If the fronts aren't within stock spec it will overheat. That is of course, if you haven't done a RWD conversion, which I advise everyone that ever owns a Lambo to do. Also, is it just me, or do those headers leave a lot to be desired?

Lambo RWD conversions are the best

Maybe this will help here also.

Couldn't hurt to try. . .

I know there has to be more than just an OEM differential...

Why do you advise to convert all Lambos to RWD?

Could just be supercar engineering. Most of them are pretty close to the edge of the performance envelope.

Any AWD car with mismatched diameter wheels/tires will cause the diff to overheat. If you change the tire size, the front and rear diameters have to match.

yeah, I was just thinking this, 235/35 to 255/40 is 6% taller, of course it will wear the diff. That's how AWD works.

The front and rear diameters don't match on a Murcie! The rears are slightly taller then the fronts. Both are 18s but the rears are 335/30 vs a 235/35, which makes the rear about an inch taller. Confusing I know.

true but the ratio btw the size of the fronts vs. the size of the rears has to stay the same for the diff to work
